Deep South Center for Environmental Justice
Social media is a dynamic tool for building meaningful connections, fostering community, and driving impact. We used these principles to guide our most recent marketing campaign project for the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice. The digital media and outreach campaign launched its grant cycle, a $2.4 million award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Gulf of Mexico Division. aKrewe created a cohesive campaign that resulted in graphic design, videos for text and image-based public service announcements, a comprehensive calendar and social strategy, and a research report with an outreach plan and targeted organizations to increase grant applications designed to build the capacity of environmental justice communities in coastal Louisiana parishes.
